Project Type
- The project is a mobile application developed with the Unity game engine.
- It was produced for campus orientation events organized by Middle East Technical University in collaboration with AdımODTÜ for two semesters: 2022-2023 Fall and Spring.
Architecture / System Design
- The architecture can be described with three layers: the mobile application, Loktos Mobile, and the database.
- The first layer is this Unity mobile application used by new students during the event.
- The second layer is the Loktos Mobile API, which provides the backend services required by the application.
- The third layer is the database consumed through the backend services.
- Because the project is game-oriented, each Unity scene represents a different application screen or flow.
- The first scene checks hardware and connectivity requirements such as GPS availability and internet access.
- Another flow downloads the required 3D content before the user accesses membership and login screens.
- After authentication, the map and related 3D objects are created for the user.
- The project follows an organized folder hierarchy and uses the Singleton Pattern where needed.

Key Technical Details and Modules
- Integrated the mobile application with the Loktos Mobile API service.
- Added multi-language support.

- Used OpenStreetMap for the map infrastructure.
Participation and Timeline
- The project was developed for Eyesoft Bilişim and used in METU orientation events.
- I developed the project independently based on the requirements shared through the company's co-founder and METU stakeholders.
- I worked on the project between September 2021 and December 2022 during my time at the company.
Project Management / Team Structure
- We did not use a Jira-like project management tool for this project.
- I installed GitLab CE on the company's server and moved the project repository there for version control.
- I also set up Slack for communication and integrated it with the GitLab repository.
- The main stakeholders I worked with were the company's co-founder and METU representatives.
Personal Contributions and Responsibilities
- The two-dimensional and three-dimensional assets used during development were provided by METU.
- I integrated these assets into the mobile application and completed the application development.
- After testing, the application was delivered to METU.
- I documented the required steps for store publishing and transferred the instructions to the relevant people.
Deployment Information
- The project was published under METU's official store accounts.
- The application is no longer available on the App Store.
- On Google Play, it can only be accessed through the related direct listing address.
